It’s been a while since we’ve posted any news on
here, so we thought we’d let you in a few updates in the VS camp. We’ve
been extremely busy lately writing for the fourth album! That’s right
folks, we’ve already began work on our fourth, as of yet untitled album.
We want to get a good jump start on this one so that will enable us
enough time to hone and polish it accordingly. A few songs are near
completion, and the song titles are in the works. We’ll keep everyone up
to date on the progress of the writing!
Once again thanks to all our Canadian fans that
showed us much support on our previous tour. We were greeted with open
arms, and everyone embraced us openly! So much so that it looks like we
will be returning this summer! Plans are currently being made for an
even longer tour this time around. All the details will be released once
they all are confirmed!
We’ve been getting a lot of traffic on our myspace
page! We want to thank all the cool people who visit us on there! Your
kind comments and messages are greatly appreciated. We’ll keep in touch
with everyone and we’ll update on here more often, so keep checking this
site frequently! Take care, and stay METAL!

OK, pretty big update! We’ve been rather busy the
past two months! The shows in England were absolutely incredible! We had
the greatest time while over there! Thank you to all the promoters, club
owners, and most importantly the fans who made it all possible! Cheers!
We have played a few shows since returning from
the U.K., and it feels good to be well received back home! Robb’s Metal
Works Showcase in S.A. was extremely cool! Robb is a very professional
promoter, and he knows how to put on one hell of a show! Thanks to Robb,
all the fans that came in support, and thanks to James Rivera, and
Helstar for making it a show to remember!
So that all of you know, “Regenesis Creation” is
finally complete, and we have the discs in our hot little hands! If
interested in obtaining a copy, you can do so through us! We have a
secure Paypal account set up right here on our site! As well, we have
our first two cd’s available once again, along with some wearable merch!
We will be working on a new color t-shirt design, so be on the lookout
for that!
There are two new shows added in the dates
section, so check that out if you want to catch us live! We promise a
killer show!
We have a couple special things in the works for
the immediate future, so please keep checking back here often to find
out what they are! The Vesper horde honors you all!!!

Hailz from London, England, we arrived yesterday morning jet lagged, tired as
hell, and ended up in a shit hole of a hotel that looked nicer on the web than
it did when we arrived! Paul from Thus Defiled picked us up yesterday evening
and gave us the grand tour of the London Underground train system, and showed us
to some traditional English pubs that were awesome! Were going to hit the
English night life this evening, we'll keep you posted to our random acts of
debauchery!

Thanks to our brothers Dark Quiet the show in Houston was killer!! Look for an
upcoming DQ VS show in Austin. So long Texas hello England. 20
more days till we make our trip across the pond. We are expecting lots of

Hello all, VS has been busy lately with the finishing touches to RC and with the EP as well. Looks like it's back over the big pond for us. We have been confirmed for the Infernal Damnation Fest III in Camden, UK, and other shows as well in Europe. More to come....

It's official, the 3rd Vesperian Sorrow album "Regenesis Creation" will be released Dec 19th world wide. The list is long and the numbers keep growing for a copy of RC, so be sure to get yours soon! Be on the lookout for an EP release early 2006.

Seems like things are looking up for the Vesper horde! Show offers are rolling in like crazy! The guys are playing every two weeks locally, and are having offers from out of state as well. We’ll keep everyone posted on that. The VS boys were fortunate enough to land the opening slot for the Nevermore show in Austin! Mark your calendars for November 14th! Come out and support!

Our second show in Dallas was way cool! The Lava Room is one of the coolest clubs we have played yet!. Thanx to our good friends in Bat Castle, and our newly aquired friends in Urizine! We were honored to play the show with guys. The turn-out was better than expected, and we had such a good time!!!!

Just a quick update. The show in New Orleans went way better than expected! Hails to all the fans who came from as far as Atlanta, and El Paso to see the VS boys tear it up! All the merch was gone in less than one hour, and the band had to leave their tour van unattended! There were dozens of fans climbing all over it. It was a sight to see!!!! Till next time NOLA!!!!

What a killer show last Friday night at the backroom! We would like to thank The Maelstrom, Catholicon, Thus Defiled, and Demoncy for sharing the stage with us! Each band put on a killerset, and the crowd response was better than expected! Also thanks to Stuart Banks from Killzone Records, and Tammy Moore, for booking the show. On a band note, we would like to welcome aboard on guitar, James Hardin. James is 23 years old, and is an amazing guitar player! We welcome him to our fold and look forward to working with him indefinitely! We have an upcoming show in San Antonio on April 30th. Please consult the dates section for all info. Vesperian Sorrow are holding guitarist auditions:
Well, sometimes it seems like the ones you hold the closest, are actually the ones that should be the furthest away. Former guitar player Ray quit on the morning of a show, leaving the band forced to play a gig in Abilene, with only one guitar player. This is the first time in the bands history that they have chosen to do this, and we tell you, the show went over way better than anyone ever expected! Will is to be complimented for holding down the lone guitar duties that night. Although the show was a killer success, V.S. has always been a dual guitar band, writing, and structuring their music with two guitars. The boys are currently holding auditions in Austin for anyone who is interested. Must have professional attitude, pro gear, and a desire and passion to play extreme metal music. Please contact the band if you feel you have what it takes to be the next VS guitarist!

All right, finally a new update. The boys have been extremely busy, so please forgive. First things first - As we all know Dimebag was taken from us recently at a show in Ohio and the entire V.S. crew want to extend their condolences to the Abbott family, and all friends and fans of one very influential man of the members of Vesperian Sorrow, "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott! See you on the other side brother!
The band have decided to make an early 2005 date for the release of their third album, "Regenesis Creation". Through trials and tribulations, things have been pushed back, and it is for the better of the album, and for the fans to obtain the greatest release to date. No half-ass shit here! The new disc will prove that Dark Fucking Metal is still alive and well.

The horde have just returned home from the International Metal Fest in Detroit, and though the crowd attendance left something to be desired, the show was a success. James Murphy, for whom the show was a benefit, was there and we are honored to call him our friend - he's by far the most down to earth and nicest guitar god that we've ever met! Thanks James for being so cool and your acceptance of the VS clan. Thanks also to Sandi (aka Metal Mom) and the guys in Black Trinity for lending us your gear! You rule.

We've finally finished tracking the new album and are about to move on to the mixing and mastering stage. VS is considering its options in this stage and as the album is something the boys hold in high honor, the process will not be rushed. But they promise that the wait will be well worth it!
If you have not yet noticed, there are new shirts, stickers, and thongs in the merch section. The printing of all came out great, thanks to Bill from South Side Graphics. Now go buy our merch you evil fuckers!

All praise to everyone who attended the Austin show at the Backroom last night. What an awesome turnout! The crowd fucking kicked ass! You guys totally rule! The booker, manager, and staff were all extremely thrilled with the nights festivities.
Special appreciation is extended to Anna from "Extreme Texas Metal" for coming to Austin to check out the show! We tell you, this woman is by far one of the most die hard supporters of underground metal, and her love of music really shows. The same goes for Jess with "Members of the Black Circle Society". Please check out their respective sites in our links section. Also, thanx to the guys in Images of Violence, Hatchetwork, and of course, Vex!
Merchandise sales were incredible, which has led the clan on a campaign to produce several more designs immediately. Expect new color t-shirts, baby tees, and thongs. All merch will be posted for sale on the web site, and available at all live performances.
Well unholy shit, the album is damn near completion, and it is going to be a BEAST unleashed on the community. All tracking is done other than a few needed punch-ins. The mixing and mastering process will begin shortly, and we'll keep you guys up to date on how things are going........
